On the heels of a small, but very successful get-together at Wharfside in Point Pleasant, that was dominated by Class of 71 attendees, John Manning and Patty Cataldo will be pairing-up to put together a full Class of 1971 Reunion. Potential dates will be announced after plans are initiated. Stay-tuned to the Irvington Remembered web site for updates on this. I will remain in close contact with John and Patty and their committee to help get the word out.
Give all the thanks to Bruce Warner and Denise Marcell, both Class of 1971 for organizing the Point Pleasant affair. It turned out terrific !!! Extra special nod to the beautiful and magnanimous Denise Marcell. “Denise, what can I say, ....you are absolutely wonderful”

Terry Giampino with husband Steve Verveat. These two met and became engaged while both were racing cars. Steve proposed and Terry said “maybe”. But she had a plan... lol. Shortly after, Terry put her plan into action. She entered her car into the same race that Steve was driving in. During the race, she maneuvered to pass Steve’s car. Well when she passed Steve’s car....... written on the back of her car was “Yes, I will marry you” Steve was so stunned that he hit the wall with his car. They have been happily married ever since. How’s that for a great story.
